The roasted pepitas give a delicious nutty flavour to this pizza.
Purchased wheat pizza base
Lavish amount of tomato sauce
1/4 cup of cheese substitute or mozzarella
1/4 cup of pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
3/4 cup of red kidney beans (cooked but not too soft)
1/2 cup of Brazilian spinach
1 cup Lebanese cress
sprinkle of cracked pepper
Splash tomato sauce around the pizza base
Sprinkle on cheese substitute
Place red kidney beans around the base
Chop and sprinkle cress and spinach on top of beans
Spread pepitas around pizza and a few grinds of cracked pepper
Cook in 200 c oven for ten minutes until crust in brown
This is a tangy pizza with a great nutty flavour from the roasted pepitas.
